What is a Dental Implant?
“Dental Implants are the most ideal option for replacing a missing tooth.”
A Dental Implant is as close as you can get to having your natural tooth back. It is essentially a titanium screw that is placed into a patient’s bone. After placement we allow the site to heal (typically for 3-4 months), giving enough time for the implant to integrate into the bone. At that point we can prepare the site for the final restoration in the form of a custom-made crown. The custom crown is created with the patient’s complete smile in mind, with a focus on complementing existing shape and color.
