Professional in-office teeth whitening is done under the care and attention of the team at Fort Worth Dental Arts. We have a dedicated whitening room in our office, which is designed to create a relaxing experience. Patients enjoy a comfortable ergonomic chair, low lighting, and a ceiling-mounted flat screen television.
We use Ultradent’s clinical strength whitening gel, Opalescence Boost, for all professional whitening sessions. Sessions typically take about 1 hour, and most patients see results immediately. Your teeth may continue to lighten for a few days after a whitening session.

This is our ultimate in-office whitening experience. A professional polishing plus a 1-hour session using our clinical strength Opalescence Boost whitening gel combine to create your brightest smile. Polishing removes most stubborn surface stains and leaves teeth feeling smooth and fresh, while whitening gel works beneath the surface to brighten teeth. Patients receive a post-whitening take-home kit with Opalescence whitening products that help maintain a bright smile and manage possible post-whitening sensitivity.
For whitening maintenance in between professional sessions, we offer Opalescence Go prefilled whitening trays. These trays are comfortable and pliable and mold to your smile. They are filled with Opalescence 15% hydrogen peroxide gel and are worn for 15-20 minutes. Opalescence Go teeth whitening trays are available in Mint flavor and Melon flavor (ordered upon request).
Opalescence Teeth Whitening syringes are for patients who have custom whitening trays or clear aligners. They are available in a variety of concentrations, and wear time will vary depending on the concentration. Opalescence gel is a more viscous formula compared to other teeth whitening brands and will not leak out of whitening trays. Dr. Hoyt prescribes the concentration amount and duration of wear according to each patient’s needs. From a 10% carbamide peroxide gel that can be worn 8-10 hours at nighttime to a 45% gel that is only worn for 15 minutes, we will find the best option for each patient to achieve their whitening goals at home. This option is truly customized whitening.

This toothpaste whitens by removing surface stains with its unique tri-silica formula, up to two shades in one month. It is great to use between whitening sessions to help maintain a bright smile. For patients that experience extra sensitivity after whitening, the Sensitivity Relief formula can help diminish whitening-induced sensitivity.

For post-whitening comfort, we carry UltraEZ desensitizing gel. This gel comes in both prefilled, moldable trays and syringes. This gel provides immediate results to treat post-teeth-whitening sensitivity and contains fluoride.

Dr. Spencer Hoyt obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and followed his Residency/ Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the world-renowned University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA. He established Fort Worth Dental Arts in 2011 to see dentistry done differently as he was passionate about providing quality dental care to his community.
Dr. Hoyt is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, CEREC Doctors, and Spear Education. He was voted Best Dentist' 2019, 2020, 2021 by Fort Worth Weekly.
